Photo Archive
Thousands of historic images spanning the full history of St. Helena — one of the Society’s most valuable public resources.

About the Collection
The Society’s photographic archive documents life in St. Helena and the upper Napa Valley from the 1860s through the present. The collection includes portraits, streetscapes, agricultural scenes, civic events, and family photographs donated by generations of residents.
The archive is cataloged in PastPerfect, where you can search by keyword, browse by category, or view random images from the collection. The database includes archives, photographs, library materials, and objects.
