On loan from the Napa County Historical Society, this exhibit traces Napa Valley’s long history as a wellness destination — from the Wappo people, who first sought out the area’s healing geothermal springs and volcanic mud, to the 19th-century hot-spring resorts that drew visitors long before wine did. On view now at the Heritage Center.
The Heritage Center is open the first Saturday of each month, noon to 4 p.m., at 1255 Oak Avenue, St. Helena.
